Located in the heart of the community, Plympton Lawn Tennis Club is a vibrant, welcoming community dedicated to making tennis accessible, fun, and inclusive for everyone. From absolute beginners to seasoned league pros, our gates are open to players of all ages and abilities.

Our Courts

We feature four premium floodlit all-weather courts that are ready for action all year-round. Members enjoy easy online booking, while the local community can join in via our Pay & Play scheme.

We pride ourselves on having a session for everyone. Our club sessions cover:

Adults & Juniors: Coaching and social play for all ages.

Rusty Rackets: Perfect if you’re returning to the game after a long break and need to shake off the “rust.”

Inclusive Play: We have integrated play with wheelchair players and sessions dedicated to walking tennis.

Flexible Timing: Sessions available during the daytime, evenings, and weekends to fit your schedule.

From Great Tennis to Tea and Cake, There’s Something for you at Plympton Tennis Club

From box leagues and social tournaments to club championships and regular club sessions, we have something for everyone. We enter several men’s, ladies’, and junior teams every year into the Plymouth & District Summer Leagues and with many players also opting to enter winter leagues it’s a great way to test your skills and represent the club.
If you want competitive play, we want you on our teams!

Tennis is better with friends. We host regular social events and in-house tournaments, ensuring our members feel like part of a family, not just a club.
